- About UsI ’m from Australia and have been involved with horses my entire life. Being raised in the rodeo arena, it’s been said that I was riding before I could walk. By the age of 14, I was racing horses. At the age of 16, I was a leading rider – breaking many records. I have rode over 1,000 winners. Through the years, I became respected for being a horseman not just a jockey. After my racing career, I went back to the rodeo life and on to win the “Rookie” team roping title. At one particular rodeo on one particular night, I met that one person that changes your life. You see, there was a man and he was doing body work on a horse. I was fascinated and wanted to learn. I became obsessed with wanting to gain knowledge about everything I could – massage, being massaged, acupressure, energy release. Just anything that would help the horse feel or perform better. I undertook the study of Bowen therapy and acupressure. I read any book I could get my hands on, observed and studied those that were proficient in this field trying to understand. I kept an open mind all…

Whew! I can not believe that it is already April. The year is already flying by. It seems like just yesterday I was writing on this blog. But, ugh, yesterday was last November. Really! It does not seem that long ago.
Airlee Beach, Australia
So to catch one up with what Troy & I have been up to. As most of you know, Troy and I went home to Australia for the holidays. What an amazing Experience. This was my first trip to Australia & I finally got to meet all of my family. Troy had not been home for 6 years. It was a really a deserved Holiday after 11 months with out even a break.
We made a tour of Queensland while visiting family and friends. And yes, I got to see Kangaroos, Koala’s, Kookaburra’s, Lorakeets, The Great Barrier Reef, and the list goes on. The country is gorgeous.
You really can not put it into words.
But before we left for our holiday, we first flew into Las Vegas for a couple of days so we could stop by the NFR. And we had our booth at cowboy Christmas again this year with Centurion. Wow! The NFR was just spectacular this year. I really think that the barrel racing hit another level. We saw girl after girl running right at the edge of the arena record until it was finally beaten. Congratulations on setting the new arena record Sheri Cervi. And no, I did not get to see that run in person. Sheri set the new arena record while Troy and I were in LA waiting for our flight to Brisbane, Australia.
Troy & the Street Entertainment
And of course, no Vegas Trip is complete with out a tour of the Strip. Troy and I met up with a couple of friends and walked the strip making a tour of the many sites and venues. What a fun night that went long into the AM. Boy our feet were tired and I was happy to see my bed that evening. Only in Vegas Baby! And I think I will leave that story there.
Well…. the new year brought the death of our van. Did you hear the tears in that statement. But even though it was sad to see it go – NOT, we are so very excited about our new Volkswagen Routan. We love it! And I am sure that most of you have already seen it because in 8 weeks we have put right at 14,000 miles on it. No! That is not a typo. We have honestly put that unbelievable amount of miles on the car. So needless to say, we have been very busy trying to see all of you and to get you ready for the 2011 season.
This year we have been doing Troy’s tip of the month for the Ezine – On the Rodeo Road. That has really been fun and I hope that all of you have been finding it informative.

We are adding several new products to our website. You will just have to check out the website to see! I don’t want to spoil all of the surprises.
Our website is approaching 2 years! Yeah! But we want to stay fresh and enticing so we will be doing a redesign. A lot of the same material but we want to make sure you can find what you are looking for – move things about and implement a cleaner interface. We want to make it more user friendly. For the last several months we have been doing a Product of the month just so you stay informed of what we have for you. Along with this…. I am going to start blogging about that product of the month. I want to continue with our goal of educating the customer. I am sure that we have products that you have not even thought of or if you have seen them you don’t really know how to use them, would just like more information about, or you just get confused with all the choices we now have. So, I am going to try to simplify this for you one product at a time.
I guess that gets us a little caught up in a few words. I am sure I could continue on but I would just bore you. Thank-you for everything that all of you do for us.

Brandenburg’s learning new things
I am trying to become more tech savvy. And trying to stay more current with my blogging. So I am trying this new phone app. I might be a hundred before I get the kinks worked out. Erg. It only took an hour for me to figure out how to log on. But I am progressing because know I am writing my first remote blog. Now if I could only master spelling 101 and predict-a-text, I would be ready to take on the world. I thought that if I could get this working that I could share more of our on the road experiences with all of you. So here it goes and please wish me luck!

Troy Brandenburg meets Bobby Ingersoll
Well… the year has flown by and I have to admit that I have not been great at keeping all of you posted about some of the superb things that have been going on. To start, Troy really had a awe-inspiring moment occur while he was in Reno Nevada this past September. Troy went there to work on a few of High School Rodeo team’s horses. While Troy was working, a man with a very watchful eye scrutinized Troy’s every move.
The Legendary California Hackamore & Stock Horse by Bobby Ingersoll
This particular man was so impressed with Troy the first day, that he asked Troy to come to his barn and to help him with one particular horse that he knew something was not quite right but that he could not quite put his finger on. Now I must tell you that the man was world renowned horse trainer, competitor, and NRCHA Hall of fame inductee Bobby Ingersoll. Troy was on Cloud 9 that some one of so much talent and knowledge would come to him for assistance. Not only did Troy get to spend his 2nd day in Reno with this legend talking and philosophizing about the horse, he was able to give Bobby a new perspective about his horses. Bobby was so impressed with Troy’s ability, knowledge, & handling of the horses that before Troy left, Bobby went in the house and got his personal book and autographed it for him. It was really an electrifying moment.
To Troy…….
