I would like to take this moment to congratulate the USA Reining Team on their Gold at the World Equestrian Games 2014, Normandy, France. What a spectacular Feat!
With the highest score on the second day, 229.5, Shawn Flarida riding Spooks Gotta Whiz helped team USA score their fourth straight Gold in Team Reining.
As a Team, the USA took the Gold metal but here are the individual standings. The Adequan U.S. Reining Squad swept the podium with combinations putting in amazing performances. A field of twenty one riders hoped to top the leaderboard in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Caen Exhibition Center but leading the way was Shawn Flarida who claimed the Individual Gold medal, Andrea Fappani earned Silver medal honors and Mandy McCutcheon stood with her squad members earning the Bronze medal.
Reining Individual Final Results:
- GOLD – Spooks Gotta Whiz (Shawn Flarida) USA 233.5
- SILVER – Custom Cash Advance (Andrea Fappani) USA 229.00
- BRONZE – Yellow Jersey (Mandy McCutcheon) USA 227.00
